# Wallet Overveiw
> This guide will walk you through what you can do on the wallet Page.

A cryptocurrency wallet is essential for anyone engaging with digital assets, offering:

* Full control over private keys, eliminating reliance on third-party custodians.
2. **Borderless Transactions**
* Instant global transfers without intermediaries or banking delays.
3. **Access to Decentralized Finance (DeFi)**
* Earn yield, stake assets, and interact with blockchain applications.

* Conduct transactions without unnecessary personal data exposure.

## Managing Multiple Wallets
### Accessing the Wallets Page
Navigate to the **Wallets** section from the left sidebar to view all your cryptocurrency wallets.
### Total Wallet Balance Overview
The wallets page displays:
* **Total Wallet Balance** across all currencies (e.g., ₦59,977.72).
* **Currency View Selector** - Choose which currency to display balances in:
* Naira (NGN)
* Euro (EUR)
* Dollar (USD)
* Pound (GBP)
### Action Buttons:
* **Swap** - Exchange between different cryptocurrencies.
* **Send** - Transfer crypto to other addresses.
* **Receive** - Generate receiving addresses.
### Available Wallet Types
#### Stablecoin Wallets:
* **USDT** - Tether (US Dollar stablecoin).
* **USDC** - USD Coin.
#### Network-Specific Wallets:
**EVM Wallet** (Default).
* Balance: ₦41,499.81
* Includes multiple blockchain networks:
* **Arbitrum** - ₦14,379.70 (Free to send).
* **Base** - ₦5,838.15 (Free to send).
* **Celo** - ₦0 (Free to send).
* **Ethereum** - ₦17,816.44 (Gas fees apply).
* **Optimism** - ₦0 (Free to send).
* **Polygon** - ₦3,465.50 (Free to send).
**Solana Wallet** (Free To Send)
* Balance: ₦12,941.73
* Wallet Address: 6PLhr...r4f9H.
### Gas Fees Information
* **Gas fees saved:** \$0.3781026.
* Networks marked "Free to send" have no transaction fees.
* Ethereum transactions may incur gas fees.
## Wallet Details and Transactions
### Viewing Individual Wallet Details
Click on any wallet to view detailed information and transaction history.
**Wallet Details Page Includes:**
#### Balance Information:
* **Current Balance** in both crypto and local currency.
* Example: Ethereum Balance (USDC) - ₦17,909.
#### Wallet Address:
* Your unique wallet address for receiving funds.
* Example: 0x8A6...9112B.
* **Copy Button** - Easily copy your address.
* **View Wallet On-Chain** - Check your wallet on the blockchain explorer.
#### Action Buttons:
* **Send** - Transfer funds from this wallet.
* **Receive** - Generate QR code or share address for incoming transfers.
### Wallet Transaction History
The transaction history section displays:
**Filter Options:**
* Search by amount or address.
* Filter by transaction type (dropdown menu).
* Filter by date range.
* **Refresh** button to update transaction list.
* **Clear Filter** option.
**Transaction Details:** Each transaction shows:
* **Transaction Type** (Sent/Received/Swapped).
* **Date and Time** (e.g., 26 September, 2025 - 3:43 PM).
* **Amount** (e.g., 2.75 USDC, 1.37 USDC).
* **Recipient/Sender Address** (truncated, e.g., "to 0x45e...aFf00").
* **Status** (Completed/Pending/Failed).
* **View Details Arrow** - Click to see full transaction information.\

What’s a Gas Fee?
* **Gas Fee**: A small fee paid to process transactions on the blockchain. Think of it as the “fuel” that keeps the crypto world running!
* Sending stablecoins on Shiga is very cheap compared to the Centralised and Decentralised exchanges.
Always double-check the **wallet address** before sending or receiving crypto. One wrong character, and your funds could be lost forever!
