BTC (Bitcoin)
BTC is Bitcoin itself, rather than a token that tracks something else. In Enta you can hold it, receive it, send it, and swap it for USD₮ or XAU₮.
You’ll find it under the BTC tab on your Wallets page.
1. The BTC tab
Selecting BTC shows a single row — Bitcoin — with your total BTC balance and its approximate value beneath in whichever currency you’ve chosen under View balances in. The eye icon hides the figure.
2. Two networks, one balance
The chevron on the right expands the row into the two networks your Bitcoin can sit on. This is the one place in Enta where the choice genuinely changes how the money behaves, so each row is labelled with what it’s good for:
Each row shows that network’s own BTC balance, its approximate value, its wallet address with a copy icon, and a chevron to open it.
The two networks have completely different addresses — a Bitcoin network address starts with something like 1Kxhj…, while a Spark address starts with spark…. They are not interchangeable. Sending Bitcoin-network BTC to a Spark address, or the reverse, can lose the funds permanently.Always copy the address from the network page you actually intend to receive on.
Not sure which to use? If someone else is sending you Bitcoin, ask which network they’re sending from and open the matching one. If you’re choosing for yourself, Spark is usually the better default for everyday amounts, and the Bitcoin network is worth the extra fee for large transfers or when the other side only supports it.
3. Opening a network
The chevron on the far right of either row opens that wallet on its own page, where you can deposit, withdraw, swap, and see its transaction history:
